Set up in 2009 by proprietors Emma Wilson and based in the Cheshire/Greater Manchester area, Pebble in the Pond is a venue decoration company with a simple philosophy that by making a few small changes to the materials that we use at events, the ripples can spread far. We try to do things slightly diffently to other venue styling companies - we like to think we are a bit more original and unique - both in our range of decorations but also how we run our company. We try to do everything in as environmentally friendly way as we can (as we realise there can be quite a lot of wastage with weddings and events!) Where at all possible, we - support local suppliers and use locally sourced products - use recycled, reclaimed or renewable materials - choose organic or fairtrade products - print on recycled materials, and where possible, use vegetable or soya inks - use eco-friendly laundering services - offset all our fuel miles - contribute 5% of all profits to environmental charities - use Co-operative business banking
